Dear Wolf Swamp Families,

As we close out 2016, I wish to express my sincere gratitude to you for welcoming me so graciously to the Wolf Swamp Road School learning community.  I feel so incredibly fortunate to work with your children on a daily basis.

Half Day Friday, 12/23/16 As a reminder, this Friday students will be dismissed at 11:30AM.  Please ensure appropriate arrangements are made for your child to be picked up from school.

December 26, 2016- January 2,2017 Schools Closed for Holiday Break Schools will be closed for holiday break from Monday, 12/26/16 through Monday, 1/2/17.  We will welcome students back to Wolf Swamp Road School on Tuesday, 1/3/17.

Cold Weather/Snow Appropriate Dress As the cold New England weather sets in, please be sure your child is properly dressed for the weather.  We go outside for recess daily, as long as the temperature is above 20 degrees.  If there is snow on the ground, your child will only be allowed off the blacktop if they are dressed in snow pants and snow boots.  Children at recess without snow pants and boots are expected to stay on the blacktop.

Lost and Found Outside the main entrance to the school, there are two large bins of lost and found.  Please take a look through the bins before Friday.  We will be making a donation to Kiducation of the unclaimed items over the holiday break.

Reserved ParkingThere are four reserved parking spots at Wolf Swamp Road School.  The reserved spots should not be used by anyone other than the intended party.  This includes the LEEF Reserved Parking Spot.

Parent Visitors Please be sure to sign in at the front office upon your arrival to school.  It is imperative that the office staff know of all visitors to the building.

Thank you for your attention to the above important reminders and updates.  I wish each and everyone of you a terrific holiday season, and a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year.

Best Regards,

Beth Nelson, Principal
