We hope that the 2016-17 school year is off to a wonderful start, and that your children are settling into a routine. At this point, we wanted to send a few important reminders about our arrival and dismissal procedures. Our number one priority at Wolf Swamp is to provide your child a safe learning environment. Part of that is keeping your child safe on school grounds at all times. There are several things that we have observed that are safety concerns.

As has been our practice for several years, there is absolutely no parking in the Wolf Swamp Parking lot from 8:20-8:45 and from2:20-3:00. If you wish to avoid the live-line, we ask that you park on either Knollwood or Brookwood Drive. If you are walking to meet your child, you must follow the sidewalk along the front of the school and around the side of the school towards Knollwood. Parents should not walk their child through the parking lot at any time. The parking lot is very active with busses, vans, and cars and it is an extremely dangerous place for pedestrians at this time. We do not want any children in the parking lot during arrival or dismissal.

Please don’t take a left from Wolf Swamp Road into the live-line entrance. This is illegal, and it also slows the flow of the live-line.

In compliance with the Massachusetts Anti Idling Law, we would ask that should your arrive to school prior to the official arrival or dismissal time, you turn your car off so that you are not idling for a period of time.

I've attached a map to this email that should help you to understand the live-line flow of traffic, as well as the walking route to Knollwood. Wolf Swamp Arrival and Dismissal Map.pdf

We appreciate your attention to these very important details to ensure that together we all keep our students safe.
